It’ll take a miracle.

I feel like in most cases people think it’ll take a miracle to go back to “normal”. A quick fix, if you will. That miracle drug or vaccine to wipe out COVID. What people don’t seem to understand is that the miracle is already there, just waiting for you to take it. That miracle is you.
You were born with an immune system that, when functioning properly, can fight off *most* anything that is thrown its way. Now, sometimes that immune system is bogged down, and needs some extra love to stay functioning at full capacity, but it’s still there. You just need to give it what it needs to operate properly.
By no means am I implying you won’t ever get sick, because you will. However, if your immune system is weak, you’re more susceptible to get sick and those illness can last weeks, can have long term effects, or can even lead to death. But, if your immune system is strong, you’ll heal faster, have less symptoms, possibly less severe symptoms, and you’ll be able to get back to living your life much quicker.
Your body needs basic things like water, air, food, movement, and sunshine. The quality of these things is of the utmost importance. Feed it anything less than stellar and your immune system will function less than stellar.
Supplementation comes into play when the foods you eat, or the amount of sunshine you get, are subpar. This includes, but is not limited to; vitamins, minerals, amino acids, electrolytes, CBD, essential oils, pro and prebiotics. It’s important to note that our food supply is compromised and, in all likelihood, you’re not getting everything you need from food. Therefore, taking good supplements is important.
Exercise is necessary because your lymphatic system, the system that moves all that waste around, is mostly dependent on active movement. It needs you to literally “pump” it along. Exercise of course helps to strengthen your heart muscle and support circulation of blood as well.
Then comes your mind. Ahhhh. What a powerful asset to have! We have free will and the power of thought. This is both our savior and our detriment. You are what you think you are. Taming and training your mind to work for you instead of against you is some task. One that never is complete. You must constantly strengthen your mind. Think of negative thoughts as going downhill. Super easy to go downhill right? Therefore, positive thoughts are climbing uphill. Much more difficult to maintain. But man, the view from up there is amazing!
So, instead of waiting for the government to come up with a miracle vaccine or cure, why don’t you use what you’ve already got. That body of yours IS your miracle to being healthy. Listen to it. Nourish it with what it needs to thrive. Take control of YOUR HEALTH. Don’t leave it up to someone else. No one else cares about your body, or knows your body, as much as you do.
