Lavender Cedarwood Foaming Soap

If you’re like me then you like variety. I don’t always want the same scent of soap but I do always want my soap to be safe and effective. You can use what ever essential oils you like but I really love this combination in particular.

Here is a very inexpensive way to personalize your soap, while staying away from that chemical mess that’s currently lining the shelves of supermarkets all over the country.

You’ll need: 2 tbsp of Dr. Bronner’s Unscented Castile Soap 20 drops Young Living Lavender Essential Oil 20 drops Young Living Cedarwood Essential Oil Place these ingredients into an empty foaming soap bottle. Then fill with water. That’s it!

Here is the breakdown on what this bottle of soap cost me to make. Castile soap: 32 ounce bottle $18.49 – $0.58 for this recipe 2o drops of Lavender $1.88 (wholesale pricing) 20 drops of Cedarwood $0.90 (wholesale pricing) Empty bottle – prices vary – I had an empty bottle of Lavender Foaming Hand Soap from YL.

$3.36 for a soap that I love and I know is free of synthetics. Worth every penny.

Want to enroll and order from Young Living? You can do that here. Want to know why I only use and recommend Young Living Essential Oils? Find that out here.
